Simple settings that keep your PlayStation wallet and games safe.
Your PlayStation account holds your games and your wallet balance. A few settings make it much harder to steal.
- Turn on two-step verification in your account security settings.
- Use a strong password that you do not use anywhere else.
- Ask for a password on every purchase on the console.
- Check the devices signed in to your account and remove those you do not know.
- Never share your sign-in ID or password, even with friends.
- PlayStation will not ask for your password in a message.
If a child uses the console, set up a family account with spending limits.
