How to pay for PlayStation Plus with a gift card

Use your PSN wallet balance for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium, without a bank card.

PlayStation Plus can be paid from your PSN wallet. Add a PlayStation Store gift card first, then buy or renew the plan with your wallet balance.

1. Redeem the gift card: Settings → Users and Accounts → Account → Payment and Subscriptions → Redeem Codes.
2. Open PlayStation Plus on your console and choose the plan and length you want.
3. At checkout, pay with your wallet balance.

How much do I need?

Check the price of your plan in the PlayStation Store first. If your balance is a little short, add a second card. Cards can be combined in the wallet.

Auto-renew

If auto-renew is on, Sony tries to charge your wallet when the plan ends. Keep enough balance before that date, or turn auto-renew off in Payment and Subscriptions.

The card must match your account country. Check the region before you buy.
