Gift card words explained: PIN, claim code, region lock and more

A short glossary of the words you see when buying and redeeming digital gift cards.

Code, PIN or claim code: the secret that adds value when you redeem it.
Redeem: entering the code on the official site or app.
Wallet or balance: the money in your account after redeeming.
Region or country: the store where the card works.
Region lock: when a card only works in one region.
Top-up: game currency sent to your player ID instead of a code.
Player ID: the number that identifies your game character.
Denomination or value: the amount on the card, in its own currency.

On JR, prices are in USD, and each card's value is shown in its own currency.
