How to check your gift card balance on each platform

Where to see your balance after redeeming a card on Amazon, Apple, Google Play, PlayStation and Steam.

After you redeem a code, the value becomes part of your account balance. Here is where to see it.

Amazon: Your Account, Gift cards.
Apple: App Store, tap your photo; the balance shows under your name when you have one.
Google Play: Profile, Payments and subscriptions, Payment methods.
PlayStation: Settings, Users and Accounts, Account, Payment and Subscriptions, Add funds shows your wallet.
Steam: your wallet balance appears next to your account name at the top of the store.

Menus change from time to time. If you cannot find it, search the brand's help pages for 'balance'.
