Apple gift card: UK or US, which one do I need?

The country of your Apple account decides which Apple gift card works.

Apple gift cards work only in the country where they were issued. A UK card adds pounds to a UK Apple account. A US card adds dollars to a US Apple account.

1. On iPhone, open Settings and tap your name.
2. Go to Media and Purchases, then View Account.
3. Look at Country/Region.

Choose the card for that country on JR. If you plan to move, spend your balance before changing country.
