How to redeem a Fortnite V-Bucks card

Add V-Bucks to your Epic Games account, and what to check about platforms.

A V-Bucks card adds V-Bucks to your Epic Games account. You can then spend them in the Fortnite Item Shop and on the Battle Pass.

  1. Go to the official V-Bucks card page on fortnite.com.
  2. Sign in with the Epic Games account you play Fortnite with.
  3. Enter the code and confirm.
  4. Open Fortnite. The V-Bucks are in your account.

Which platform will my V-Bucks work on?

V-Bucks from a card go to your Epic account, so they work on most platforms where you play with that account. Some console rules can apply, so check Epic's help page if you play on several systems.

Make sure you are on the right account

Many players have more than one Epic account, for example one made with a console and one with an email. In Fortnite, check the account name before you redeem.

Never give your Epic login to someone who promises free V-Bucks. Free V-Bucks generators are always scams.
